I'm not knocking it, I played it and enjoyed it, the Jedi Temple wasn't much but Tattoine was certainly much better. You might want to check the trade-in value of your copy of The Force Unleashed, odds are it'll plumit to £/$1 when the Ultimate Sith Edition comes out, although it's already been out a year, and never had great replay value, so I imagine they aren't short of a Force Unleashed in a trade-in bin. Of course, you could always rent it, if/when it's available. Tell us about it, read the various forums, especially at the Lucasarts forums, consumers aren't happy. Not that this isn't alienating those who bought the game at launch a year ago and fairthfully bought the DLC that's come out since. The only way this might happen is if the game sells next to nothing, and even then only after a suitably long period, even then at the expense of alienating those who bought the Ultimate Sith Edition when it came out. Unlikely, it will be exclusive, they want you to fork over some cash. Yeah, but it could be a "timed-exclusive" The Hoth level is EXCLUSIVE to the Ultimate Sith Edition, Google "Exclusive" to learn the meaning. Who are you, Nelson Muntz? Get out of here. It saves you the cost of the game and the two DLC's, plus it contains the other DLC, such as character skins, overall what would cost you about £22 on the PSN, I should know I friggin' well bought it all weeks before the announcement. So, I should wait for the Ultimate Sith Edition? You could rent it, and if it's so good, you could then purchase it, but if once you're done with the Trophies and you don't fancy playing the Hoth level again, if you rented it, you didn't waste a lot of money on it. There's little point in wasting your money on the current DLC, when it's included in the Ultimate Sith Edition, better to rent it and do it all, or to purchase the Ultimate Sith Edition if you want to keep all the DLC, plus the Hoth level. No as said above, you don't need DLC to get the Platinum Trophy, just the basic Trophies, from the top down to and including "Worst Day-Shift Manager Ever". Or wait for the Ultimate Sith Edition and start from there.ĭo I need DLC to get the Platinum Trophy?/Should I get the available DLC now? My advice? Either plat the current game on rental or for cheap used, but DON'T buy any DLC. We don't know for 100% sure, is if a save game you've started with the Original Force Unleashed will work in the Ultimate Sith Edition, so don't expect to be able to finish off a 500 "kill with a specific force power/attack" in Ultimate Sith Edition if you've started it in the Original, incase it doesn't. It won't affect your trophies negatively. You can either wait and use the Ultimate Sith Edition to get ALL Trophies, or you're left over trophies if you have all but the Hoth 5 Trophies, or get what you can now (don't bother getting the DLCs from the store!), and then use the Ultimate Sith Edition to get the remaining ones. Well, 88% if like me the poor suckers bought the Jedi Temple and the Tattoine DLC's and did the trophies in them, if you didn't do one or both of them your % will be lower, but you'll still be able to plat it. No, it won't show up as a new game, current owners are stuck with a Plat at 88% (you don't need any DLC to get a Platinum, it's the same with all games, except maybe Little Big Planet that requires a Metal Gear Solid expansion pack), we have 5 Trophies we are not yet able to get, nor will we until the Ultimate Sith Edition is released and we get it and play the Hoth level. So, wait, what's with the Trophies, will this show up as a new game? It also has the Character DLC's as well, which is everything available on the PS Store currently. It's Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, PLUS the two currently available DLC levels on the PSN Store, and an exclusive 3rd one, which is the second half of the Tattoine one, based on Hoth where you're the Evil Apprentice instead of Darth Vader and laying waste to Echo Base and giving Luke Skywalker what-for. One or two are taking pre-orders on "US Versions", be weary of this, region coding could be an issue. It's starting to appear on the common sites ( thanks Labartu) but nothing in the UK at the time of writing this (well HMV half have it on their site, no pic or details), not a good sign if it's supposed to be out in the next couple of months. It's due out before Christmas, some say Oct, others Nov, but nothings 100% confirmed yet. Well, many of us I'm sure are at this point, we've either played the game and the two DLCs and now fuming while we await the release of the USE (Ultimate Sith Edition), or we're one of the ones who've saved our money on the two DLCs and awaiting the USE with a less dented wallet and bad taste in our mouths.
